Pilates for Every Body
Core. Balance. Strength.
Our Philosophy

Joseph Pilates
Founder · 1883–1967
"Pilates is for every body"
This foundational philosophy states that this movement method is adaptable for all ages, fitness levels, and physical capabilities, challenging the misconception that it is only for a specific, flexible, or elite demographic.
Originally created by Joseph Pilates as a rehabilitative system, the method emphasizes core strength, breath, and spinal mobility — which can be modified for anyone, from professional athletes and dancers to seniors and those recovering from injury.
At Reformation we adopt these same philosophies focusing on core, balance and strength.

Services
Serving in Danville, CA
Private Sessions are one-on-one with an instructor. These sessions offer the most individual attention to your specific needs. It is recommended that you start with Private Sessions if you are new to Pilates. This will enable you to get comfortable with the equipment and movements.
Duet Sessions are two (2) clients with one instructor. You choose your partner and must schedule with the same partner each time. This is a great option for spouses and friends who want to work out together in a semi-private setting.

About
Certified Pilates Instructor
Dahlia has spent most of her life in California. After experiencing the challenges of an autoimmune disorder and arthritis, her doctor recommended incorporating low-impact strength training and stretching into her routine. That recommendation led her to Pilates — and what began as a path to healing quickly became a lifelong passion more than 20 years ago.
After relocating to the Danville area, Dahlia joined a new studio where her dedication and natural ability led to her being recruited for comprehensive certification. As living proof of the benefits Pilates can offer for those with autoimmune and arthritic conditions, she is deeply committed to helping others discover the same transformative results.
Her approach emphasizes core strength, body control, precision, and fluid, functional movement, all guided by intentional breathwork. Dahlia believes that movement should feel good and be accessible to every body. She creates sessions that are not only effective, but also engaging, supportive, and enjoyable.
